The Carlos Moniz Memorial Scholarship was created in loving memory of Carlos Moniz.
Carlos believed that the greatest gift we can give one another is kindness. He understood the importance of showing up for people, offering support without judgment, and treating others with compassion and respect.
His life reminds us that human connection matters. Sometimes it is a conversation, a helping hand, or simply letting someone know they are not alone that makes all the difference.
This scholarship honors Carlos’ legacy by recognizing individuals who lead with their hearts, uplift others, and create meaningful change through compassion, service, and kindness.
By celebrating those who make a positive impact in the lives of others, we continue planting seeds of hope that will grow for generations to come.
At Sunflower Seeds of Healing, we believe healing begins when people feel seen, heard, valued, and supported. Through this scholarship, we honor Carlos by encouraging others to carry that spirit forward.
